Pioneer of the French electronic music scene, Chris Honorat made his debut on Radio FG in Paris in 1992 under the name of The Exorcist. He has worked in Laurent Garnier’s record shop USA Imports, and signed on his label F Communications in 1995 under the name of Chaotik Ramses.

He organized many raves as D-Mention festival or the Autom@tik parties at the Rex Club, one of the best techno venue in France and Europe.

Chris multiplies collaborations and released several EPs on many French techno labels (F Com., Calme, Dancefloor Killer, Kobayashi, Wall Keys, Euterpe, A-Traction ...) as well as compilations of the great events in which he participates as a DJ (Printemps de Bourges, Got Milk, Happy Land, D-mention ...)

After seven years of residence at the Rex Club and many evenings in France and abroad, he moved in the South Pacific and mixed in Tahiti, New Zealand and New Caledonia. He has worked with local artists, including the rock band Tikahiri that he brings to an electronic way.

Back in France in late 2013 Chris Honorat now performs under his real name, a symbol of mu- sical maturity gained over the years of travel and meetings.

He has signed in 2014 on Polish label Prismat, then on Get Physical Music for which he composed the title «Finally Come» and mixed the Get Physical In Miami compilation for the Winter Conference. This mix was recorded live at the Rex Club, and is still online on YouTube.

Chris produced an EP on A-traction with remixes from Emde and Beroshima and shares a release with Angy Kore on Acidsex. His new EP «The Dust» is out now on the young French label Smooth Operator, and he just joined the famous KMS label crew and its new division 2nd Born, for two EPs scheduled for the coming weeks.

Waiting to listen to his latest tracks, you can find it behind the decks! Stay tuned ...
